Just busy.. and not much to report on the ol LJ front.. have been to a couple of events this year with two more back to back. both [info]r0chet and I have taken up archery.. [info]r0chetthe long bow and myself the Hungarian bow.. We have bosses and will be practicing in the garden now the weather is better..stuff bubbling away in the background business related but more on that later.. Also thinking of changing my name on LJ getting rid of GH as a user name... but havent decided what to have as a replacement... have a few pictures to post of me being a pyrot at the weekend on my lovely hat I got from Etsy.. just bought another one from the same lady but this is dark navy and red.. very French revolution..
This weekend we are popping to see our friends at Snailwell Medieval Faire ( near Newmarket) and next weekend is our first offical practice weekend with the Stanley Retinue at Tatton Park which is exciting as we hope to get some shooting done..

I now find myself in London on Thursday evening ( after a meeting) wonder if anyone on my FL is available for dinner?

Where have I been?

well, nowhere.. just work , home and bed.. had a rather icky cold which meant a couple of ays in bed but all better now ( save for an irritating cough) Some bad stuff at work has left me feeling uncommunicative and slightly paranoid but I have had a word with myself and am getting over that now.. Looking forward to the Easter break when some lovely lovely people are coming to stay :-) not happy with the £56 customs charge I received today for the lovely victorian bustle dress I bought of ebay what seems like ages ago now.. what with that and the corset I got on Etsy ( which I still have to send my measurements for!) I am a bit broke..:-( but other than that and the continued lady-related health probs I am getting back to normal. I received my hat today ( I ordered 2 from lestat Couture) and its gorgeous and will go with my blue outfit splendidly...Trying to watch what I eat and will be taking to the roads on the bike when the clocks spring forward for some stamina building.. As for the season ahead.. well now we are no longer trading we will be playing at some medieval events and helping out at others.. Can't give that life up just yet.. still yearning to go to the Bath Ball in April... le sigh...and received booking confirmation for the cottage in Whitby for Oct so all is well there..

thats me jsut about upto date then

we have booked a cottage for WGW Oct 08.. it took alot of deliberation and we still haven't completely formalised it with a deposit but they are going to hold it for us.. its a bit of a way on Church Street with harbour views and PARKING!.. we hope that [info]littlepinkfaery [info]karlthulhu [info]solo_beckett & [info]blaquewraith will come to dinner one night as I am sure we will all be eating round each others.. We have a few trips planned for the days leading up to the event as, although I love whitby, there is only so much time you can spend in the old town in the same shops and tea rooms without getting a bit bored... so.. we plan to go the Staithes, Goathland again, Robin Hoods Bay and possibly york.. or Scarborough Castle..
